Needless to say, I’m pretty happy to be saying good-bye to 2013. It has held a lot of hard days. But when I look back at the year, the love and support of our amazing community shines the brightest for me. From out friends dropping everything on our dark day to just be with us. For friends and family who prayed prayers we just couldn’t pray in those early days. Books and songs that spoked deep into me, words that spoke on my behalf. Friends who made so many meals and so many gift cards given. Gifts that would randomly show up on our back porch. Beyond supportive work places. And so much more. When I look back, my eyes get teary thinking of all the different expressions of love people in our lives have shown to us this year. I just want to say thank you, even though that doesn’t feel enough. You, my dear community, carried us through this year. You have no idea how much each of you have given us strength when we had none. You showed us what community is really all about, so thank you. Cheers to you dear friends, and here’s to a Happy New Year.

Darling Precious,
2013 was hard for all of us who love you. My comfort comes from the written word that our Father-God will give us no more than we can handle knowIng all things work together for good for His children. God has been sustaining faithful to His Word. For this I thank and praise Him.
I know how it is not to be able to form words of prayer in a time of greatest need but God provides His Holy Spirit to pray the words acceptaable in His sight and brings to rememberance appropriate verses of scripture. What a wonderful Father we have!

As your family our hearts ached throughout 2013. We were pleased and encouraged to see you and Jason endure. Thank you for fighting back to overcome. We are elated with approval pride. The worst is over and the future remaiins with Psalm 139. You are much loved and greatly needed.

Eternal love from Jesus and Gam
